Feyenoord star slaps Celtic with backhander but 'easy' Champions League stroll comes with one compliment

Unfazed Quilindschy Hartman believes Feyenoord cruised to an 'easy' win against Celtic despite being made to sweat by facing Kyogo and Daizen Maeda.

The Premiership champions kicked off their Champions League group stage campaign with a familiar tale of woe with a 2-0 loss in Rotterdam after Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm were sent off within five minutes of each other in the Netherlands.

Brendan Rodgers' side kept the Dutch champions at bay in the first half before Joe Hart saw Calvin Stengs' speculative free kick catch him out before the break.

And now Hartman has confessed it took them time to work out how to deal with the Japanese threat in attack before Arne Slot's side piled it on after the interval.
