Fabio Silva to Rangers a 'simple' transfer as Wolves sporting director reveals Ibrox plan before summer crunch talks

Fabio Silva isn't arriving at Rangers with an option to buy - but Wolves say all will be reviewed in the summer. The striker has been announced as Philippe Clement's first signing of the winter transfer window.

He will be registered as an Ibrox star in the New Year and Molineux sporting director Josh Hobbs hopes he can rediscover his striking prowess that won him his move from Porto in the Premiership.

Hobbs says the move is all on Silva's decision and the transfer chief has lauded him for it. He told club media: “This is a simple one – Fabio needs to play.

He’s not getting enough opportunities here, so it’s a chance to go out and score goals and we’ll look at the future in the summer.
