Erik ten Hag gives verdict on Amad performance on Manchester United return

Erik ten Hag was impressed with what Amad had to offer on his return to the Manchester United side against Nottingham Forest.

The Ivorian made his first appearance of the season in the 2-1 Premier League defeat at the City Ground after he replaced Antony ten minutes into the second half of the match.

Amad had been sidelined since suffering a serious knee injury in pre-season but looked lively in his first appearance in five months.

Ten Hag was disappointed with the lack of attacking threat from his side against Nottingham Forest but singled out Amad as one of the few positives from the performance.
