Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed her plans to 'distance herself' from Love Island as she strives to become her 'own person'. The Turkish actress, who won the ITV dating show last summer with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, has admitted that she wants to pursue other acting opportunities.
Since leaving the villa, Ekin-Su has appeared as a contestant on the latest series of Dancing on Ice as well as landing huge deals with brands like fashion retailer Oh Polly.
But the 28-year-old now wants to detach from the Love Island scene and instead take on an acting agent. The former Love Island star appears to be following in the footsteps of Molly-Mae Hague, who after finding fame on the dating show in 2019, admitted to 'not wanting to be known' for her appearance on the show. Ekin-Su said she often hears that she could be "forgotten" as new Islanders rise to fame after the show, but the former contestant stated that she's not fazed by it. "That doesn't bother me because of who I am," she says, as she added that she knows what she's going to do in her life.
