Ebbsfleet boss Dennis Kutrieb has vowed not to look too far ahead after they continued their winning streak. Kutrieb’s men made it seven straight wins in National League South with a 3-1 success over Bath at Stonebridge Road last weekend.

Their promising start will be put to the test at second-placed Havant this Saturday, a side who have only dropped two points so far. “We just try to take it week to week, that’s the easiest way for us to see it,” vowed Kutrieb. “We don’t need to look at September as a whole, or all the upcoming games.

We have Bath ticked off, now we can focus on Havant and then Braintree - two tough games with different styles of play that we need to be ready for.” The Havant game sees Kutrieb face opposite number Paul Doswell.

There’s no love lost between the pair, with the Havant boss banned for six games by the FA following insults aimed at Kutrieb with reference to his German nationality from a match in February 2021.
