Manchester City star Erling Haaland will be the cover star for EA Sports' new football game, EA FC 24, if a recent leak is to be believed.

With EA Sports' hugely popular FIFA series of games coming to an end, and FIFA 23 to be the last in the series, EA Sports will be releasing their very own football title later this year, the first without the FIFA branding, with the new series to be called EA Sports FC.

In recent days, the EA FC 24 release date has been leaked and now the cover star has apparently been leaked too. According to reliable leaker @billbil_kun (via Dealabs), the EA FC 24 Standard Edition cover star will be Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, with the Ultimate Edition also featuring the Norwegian, along with 30 other professional footballers.

This news is as a bit of a surprise, particularly with Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe gracing the cover of the last three EA Sports FIFA entries; FIFA 23, FIFA 22 and FIFA 21.
