Francesco Bagnaia secured pole in Q2 at the German Moto Grand Prix on Saturday morning. It was the second consecutive pole he had taken at the track after leading the grid in 2022 as well.

In Q1 he had slipped off at Turn 13 and raced back to the pits just in time to secure a spot for Q2. Brad Binder had topped Q1 in the day’s first session. Ducati’s Bagnaia ended well ahead of Binder, who could only claim ninth spot, a little over half a second slower than Bagnaia’s best time of 1:12.409.
