Day After Brother Musheer Breaks Sachin Tendulkar's Record, Sarfaraz Khan Re-shares 'Sher Bhookha Hai' Post

It was an emotional day for Naushad Khan and family as the younger son of the household - Musheer Khan - surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's record in Ranji Trophy final.

Musheer is the brother of Sarfaraz Khan, who recently impressed during his Test debut. In the ongoing Ranji Trophy final against Vidarbha, Musheer has given signs that he could be the star for the future.

He scored a knock of 136 in 326 deliveries, consisting of 10 boundaries, helping Mumbai get a massive 500-plus run lead. Musheer Khan thus became the youngest Mumbai batter to score a century in a Ranji Trophy final.

Sachin Tendulkar, who held the previous record was present at the stands, as the 19-year-old Musheer brought up his exquisitely carved ton in 255 balls.

Recalling the encouraging words of Tendulkar, pacer Varun Aaron revealed how the cricket veteran boosted his morale and that "changed" his Test debut in 2011. In Aaron's first match in the format, India were playing against West Indies at Wankhede and the pacer was struggling to get his maiden Test wicket. This is when Sachin motivated him to keep going.
