Michael Beale has played down the transfer fee he's set to pay for Danilo. Rangers have had a bid accepted for the Feyenoord striker, who has said his goodbye to his teammates in Rotterdam prior to making his way to Glasgow to complete the switch.

It has been reported that the Gers lodged an offer of around £6million. The Dutch champions booted out an initial bid of £4.5million, but relented at the second attempt.

It's also been claimed that the Brazilian could warn up to £45,000 per week in Govan. Beale is hoping to have his man, and potentially another new face, in the building next week.

Jose Cifuentes has already signed a pre-contract agreement but Beale would like to bring the Los Angeles FC midfielder over sooner rather than later.
