Rangers have reportedly met Feyenoord's asking price for Danilo with their "final" attempt to land the striker this summer. The Brazilian is understood to be keen on a move to the Scottish Premiership but has been forced to watch from the sidelines during pre-season as the Ibrox and Rotterdam powerbrokers iron out the final details of a deal.
Michael Beale has openly admitted to being an admirer of the 24-year-old but Record Sport understands that a previous bid of around £5.2m with add-ons was booted out by Feyenoord.
However, Rangers have now returned with a "final" bid in the region of €6.5million (£5.6million) which The Algemeen Dagblad report meets the asking price of the Dutch champions.
It is stated that the two clubs are "approaching an agreement" to allow the attacker to make his long-awaited move to Ibrox this summer.
