Spurs chairman Levy told Kane to be sold or tied to new deal Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been told Harry Kane cannot be allowed to run down his contract as Manchester United circle to wait and see if the striker does move this summer.
It is understood Spurs owner Joe Lewis has instructed Levy to either sell Kane or renew his contract that expires next June.
Kane is not expected to sign a new deal with Tottenham and means he will be able to walk away for nothing in the middle of next year. The Manchester Evening News reported earlier this month United were still monitoring Kane's situation on the off-chance Spurs are open to selling him to a domestic rival.
