Daniel Bell-Drummond and Tawanda Muyeye could feature for Kent Spitfires during their One Day Cup title defence. The duo are currently with London Spirit (Bell-Drummond) and Oval Invincibles (Muyeye) for the Hundred competition.
But neither have featured in their side’s opening two matches and interim head coach Simon Cook confirmed that they could play for the Spitfires this month.
However, regulations state that they cannot play for Kent on the same day that their franchise team has a match. “Daniel’s with the London Spirit at the moment, Zak Crawley has come into their side so there’s another batter and potentially he may become available at the back end of this tournament,” said Cook. “We’re in conversation with him about that.
But we have to deal with what we’ve got here with our squad. “If we get the luxury of a Daniel Bell-Drummond that’s going to be brilliant for us.
