A four-month-old kitten who was cruelly 'thrown out with the rubbish' is believed to have had his legs deliberately broken. Black and white kitten Forest was found wrapped in a carpet and dumped.
He was discovered among bags of household waste outside a block of flats before being rushed to the vets. Forest was transferred to the RSPCA's Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, in Salford, where he is now facing a 'slow recovery'.
RSPCA inspector Ben Cottle-Shaw said: "There’s no evidence to suggest Forest had been involved in a road traffic accident, no scuff marks, scabs or damaged claws which you would normally expect to see.
So it leads us to believe the injuries to his legs have been deliberately inflicted.
