Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo insisted he would copy club legend Eric Cantona's iconic collar style on his shirt after scoring for the club at some point this season.
Cantona's turned-up collar was a sign of confidence every single time he walked out onto the pitch for United. While many people over the years suggested that it was just a gimmick, the Frenchman simply played with his collar up on a cold day and decided to keep it after his side won that particular game.
It quickly became an integral part of the forward's look, with 'The King' going on to register 81 goals and 62 assists for United during his career at Old Trafford.
Cantona also won 11 trophies with the Reds, including four top-flight titles.
