Cristiano Ronaldo has given his Manchester United teammate Diogo Dalot a new nickname. Ahead of Thursday night's defeat to Real Sociedad in the Europa League, the 37-year-old commented on the full-back's Instagram post 'piteusinho'.

This roughly translates to 'little pittie' and while it is not totally clear what this means in English, it is understood to be referring to Dalot as a 'little Pitbull'.

The 23-year-old's new nickname certainly translates well to his recent performances for United. Dalot has made the right-back position his own this season with the defender becoming instrumental to the Reds over the last few matches.
