Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo was left furious with the referee in Al-Nassr's 1-0 win over Al-Ettifaq in the King Cup of Champions quarter-finals.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner even signalled for the referee Piero Maza to be substituted after his teammate Talisca's goal was disallowed due to Ronaldo being offside.
The drama didn't end there as the official had to make another decision involving Talisca. The Brazilian was initially given a yellow card for elbowing an opponent, but after a VAR review, it was changed to a red card and he was sent off.
The referee believed that Talisca had intentionally used his left arm to hurt his opponent. Ronaldo also got a yellow card for arguing with the referee in the 38th minute.
