Coronation Street fans seem to be in two minds over whether DS Lisa Swain killed Joel Deering. But some claim to have 'worked out' what the character is really hiding.

At the end of last month, viewers of the ITV soap were concerned for Swain as she was seen trying to hide her agony. Following Joel's sudden disappearance, the Detective Sergeant and her colleague Kit Green thought they had concluded that the solictor may have taken his own life.

At the time, after Joel failed to show for his court appearance and a warrant was issued for his arrest, Kit revealed he had a lead on Joel and he managed to locate his last whereabouts.

He then found his car parked next to a bridge with a folded note on the dashboard.
