Coronation Street fans have proven Kit Green is a 'wrong 'un' after spotting a glaring error in his notebook as he tried to get to the bottom of Joel Deering's murder.
The detective constable, who only arrived on the cobbles earlier this year as the long-lost son of Bernie Winter, had taken over the case of the solicitor's disappearance before his body was found, and a murder investigation was launched.
Joel hadn't been seen on the cobbles since making a concerning phone call last month. He did not show up to his plea hearing, and a warrant was issued for his arrest after DS Lisa Swain was able to nail him for buying the drugs used to prompt Lauren Bolton's early labour, having intended for her to miscarry their baby son, Frankie, as his grooming of the teen was uncovered. However, Joel's ex-fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey didn't believe this version of events leaving Swain and Kit to keep on digging. But, as Joel's dad was hauled in for questioning after he was seen on CCTV alongside his son, PC Craig Tinker approached Swain and Kit and announced Joel's body was found by three lads at a riverbank.
