Viewers couldn't seem to keep their eyes off of Peter Barlow as they tuned into their first Coronation Street fix of the week.
Fans of the ITV soap have been left worried for the character as they think he could be framed for Rufus Donahue's death. The businessman was found dead in his swimming pool and it was later revealed he was paid a visit by Stephen Reid who has secretly been bumping off - and trying to kill - anyone who gets in his way as he tries to fix his money woes and get his hands on the Underworld factory.

And it wasn't long before he was desperately trying to stop her from doing any digging that may reveal he is the one who killed her husband. The bag was also seen by Sean Tully, who later in the episode pointed out while chatting away in the pub that Rufus had a tie pin just like Stephen.
