Philippe Clement reckons Vaclav Cerny has put his Rangers detractors in their place as the winger continued his red-hot scoring streak against St Mirren.

Winger Cerny has been in for some criticism after flattering to deceive since his loan move from Wolfsburg. Things appeared to reach breaking point during the win over Hibs last month, after he was seen remonstrating with his own fans for getting on his back.

He's responded since then though with braces against St Johnstone and Steaua Bucharest before his match-winning strike against St Mirren today.

He's turned things around after a difficult start and Clement was delighted to see both him and Cyriel Dessers take on starring roles against Saints.
