Christopher Jullien says he has “ants in his legs” after leaving Celtic for Montpellier. The French centre back’s departure from the Premiership champions has been confirmed after he underwent a medical with the Ligue 1 outfit earlier today.
The fact that it went smoothly will come as a relief to Jullien, who saw a move to Schalke in Germany fall through earlier this summer before being included in the Hoops squad for their pre-season tour.
Jullien was signed for £7million by Neil Lennon back in June 2018 and was a key part of the Hoops defence under the Northern irishman.
However, a serious knee injury ruled him out long term and he only made his return to action under Ange Postecoglou during a Scottish Cup fourth round win over Raith Rovers last February.
