Christian Eriksen has been named as Manchester United’s Player of the Month for September after a strong start to life at Old Trafford.

The Dane signed for the Reds from Brentford in the summer transfer window and has made eight appearances for Erik ten Hag's side so far this term.

Eriksen, who has recorded two assists for the Reds, has formed a good relationship with Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay in recent weeks and has helped United win their last four Premier League matches.

The 30-year-old has been deployed in a deeper midfield role in the past month, with his ability to dictate play allowing Ten Hag's men to keep hold of the ball.
