Christian Eriksen is arguably playing the best football of his distinguished career right now. Just over a year after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, the Manchester United star is dropping masterclasses for fun.
Eriksen has been one of the Premier League’s form players so far in 2022/23 and he’s continued to dazzle on international duty.
The former Tottenham Hotspur playmaker scored an absolute stunner against Croatia last week and turned in a Man of the Match display during Denmark’s 2-0 win over France in the UEFA Nations League.
Eriksen didn’t score or assist in the match, but was a constant thorn in the world champions’ side. He created eight chances in total, with Real Madrid pair Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni simply unable to contain him.
