Chris Froome says the Tour de France remains his “ultimate goal” and that he will be aiming for a stage victory at the race this summer.
Froome’s Israel-Premier Tech team are yet to confirm their line-up for the Grand Tour, which starts on July 1, but the four-time champion is likely to be included.
Ad Froome, who recently turned 38, raced last week at the Route d'Occitanie, finishing in 40th place in the overall standings.
