The Boston Celtics are waiving guard Lonnie Walker IV, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Tuesday. Walker, 25, joined the Celtics on a non-guaranteed exhibit-10 deal over the summer and averaged 7.3 points in 16.4 minutes in four preseason games.

Walker played last for the Brooklyn Nets, averaging nearly 10 points in 23.2 minutes per game. The former No. 18 pick in 2018 has shot 37.5% from 3 on 4.6 attempts over the last two years.
