Raging Celtic fans took aim at Brendan Rodgers' decision to hook Tomoki Iwata during their showdown with Motherwell. Forgotten midfielder Iwata was making his first appearance for the club since December as he was handed a Scottish Premiership start as Rodgers went back to the drawing board to rethink his midfield engine room at Fir Park amid their stuttering title defence.
With the game sitting level after Adam Idah cancelled out Blair Spittal's opener, Rodgers opted to look to his bench in the second half in a bid to find a winner.
Benfica loanee Paolo Bernardo would come on for Iwata after 77 minutes - which sparked an angry reaction from the away section in Lanarkshire.
Audible booing was picked up by the Sky Sports cameras from a large section of the Celtic support, with commentator Ian Crocker commenting: "Some fans are booing, and are not happy that Tomoki Iwata has been taken off." It comes with rising tensions among the Celtic support.
