Celtic and Rangers fans blast St Johnstone after ticket boycott as 'double standards' reply puts pricing row in focus

Rangers and Celtic fans have urged St Johnstone boycotters to direct their fury at their own club as Perth ultras group Fair City Unity organise a protest against ticket pricing at Ibrox.

The Saints supporters have thrown their support behind the Twenty's Plenty campaign which aims to cap all ticket prices across Scottish football at £20 per match.

It comes after St Johnstone fans travelling to Ibrox for their clash with Rangers this weekend learned adult tickets would set them back £31 each.

The fan group put out a lengthy statement slamming "unwarranted and extortionate" pricing during the cost of living crisis, and urged fellow supporters to boycott the 1,000 allocation they have been given.
