Carlos Alcaraz has pulled out of this week’s Mexican Open in Acapulco due to a hamstring strain which he suffered at the Rio Open.
Alcaraz required treatment on his left leg during his semi-final win over Nicolas Jarry in Rio and appeared to be in big trouble when he had a problem with his other leg in the final, as Cameron Norrie fought back to beat the Spaniard in three sets.

I hope to see you all soon!” Alcaraz should be ready to compete at Indian Wells, on March 8-19, where he made a big breakthrough last year by reaching his first Masters semi-finals, only to lose to Rafael Nadal.
