Carlos Alcaraz believes he is “one of the favourites” to win Wimbledon after he won the Queen’s Club Championship on Sunday afternoon.

The 20-year-old Spaniard defeated Australian Alex de Minaur 6-4 6-4 as he prepares to compete at SW19 for what would be his second Grand Slam victory, having fallen short against Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals at this year’s French Open at Roland-Garros.

Ad Alcaraz won back the No. 1 ranking with his triumph in West London, and will be well fancied to win at Wimbledon next month.
