Carabao Cup third round draw time, TV channel and potential Nottingham Forest opponents

Nottingham Forest will find out their Carabao Cup third-round opponents this evening. The Reds beat Grimsby Town 3-0 on Tuesday night to book their spot in the third round of the competition.

Ryan Yates' opener and Sam Surridge's brace sealed the result while debutant goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey kept a clean sheet. Steve Cooper's side entered the competition at the second round stage along with some of their Premier League counterparts with the rest of the top flight teams involved in European competition join in the third round.

Forest have won the League Cup on four occasions, with most recent being in 1990. The third round games are set to take place in the week commencing November 7 with Forest set to host Brentford on the Saturday before.
