Leeds United will learn their second round Carabao Cup opponents on Wednesday evening. The Whites, other 12 Premier League clubs not in Europe and recently relegated Watford and Burnley are all set to enter the tournament with first round matches set to be played across this week.
The draw for the second round will take place following the conclusion of Sheffield Wednesday’s clash with Sunderland at Hillsborough.
Sky’s new Carabao Cup presenter for 2022/23, Mark Chapman, will host the draw with ex-Owls striker Clinton Morrison and former Sunderland man Michael Gray tasked with drawing the teams.
Leeds will be placed into the northern section of the draw for round two and could face any of the sides in their half of the draw after a seeding system was scrapped in 2018.
