Cambuslang Rangers v Rutherglen Glencairn: McColl and Pryce ready for battle as Camby seek derby revenge for 97th-minute sickener

dailyrecord.co.uk

Cambuslang Rangers boss Paul McColl says his players will be up for some derby day revenge as they seek to make up for their painful last-gasp defeat to Rutherglen Glencairn last time out.

The Somervell Park side were undone in the 97th minute in the September meeting when Paul Brennan struck to earn a 2-1 victory for Glens at the Hamish B Allan Stadium.

But Camby have improved a lot since then and managed to haul themselves out of the relegation zone in the West of Scotland First Division, so McColl is hopeful they will be able to make amends against Joe Pryce’s charges on home turf.

Camby go into the game having beaten Thorniewood United 2-1 in their last outing on January 13, while Glens lost 2-1 at home to Blantyre Vics on Saturday.
