Fulham star Calvin Bassey has revealed that he has turned to Manchester United star Harry Maguire for advice throughout his career.
Having kickstarted his career in the Leicester City academy, Bassey made his mark at Rangers after being brought to the club by Steven Gerrard - as he helped the club claim the Scottish Premiership title in 2021.
But it would be Gio van Bronckhorst who brought the best out of the defender as he shone on route to the Europa League final and lifted the Scottish Cup under the Dutchman, before making a £19m move to Ajax at the end of the 2022 campaign.
But swapping the Premiership for Amsterdam didn't work out as the Dutch giants struggled and failed to capture the Eredivise title - with Bassey being moved on to Fulham amid stinging criticism of his only campaign as an Ajax player.
