Construction work on a brand-new ‘state of the art’ education campus has been completed in the city centre. The Manchester College and UCEN Mancheter’s new facility is called City Campus Manchester.

Situated opposite the AO Arena, on the site of a former Boddington’s Brewery plant, the new campus will open to students from September.

Bosses believe that more than 1 million Mancunians will come through its doors over the facility’s lifetime. The campus boasts top-notch equipment for students — from TV, radio, and sound studios, to professional art and photography studios, as well as a 40-seat restaurant run by students.

It also has the latest in 3D modelling for design and development.
