Manchester United attacking-midfielder Bruno Fernandes praised teammates David de Gea, Marcus Rashford and Wout Weghorst for their contributions in Sunday's 3-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

United, who are now unbeaten in each of their last eight matches, tightened their grip on a top-fourth berth thanks to two goals from Rashford and one from substitute Jadon Sancho.

Rashford broke the deadlock after 25 minutes, burying a low shot past goalkeeper Danny Ward, ahead of doubling his and the Reds' tally 11 minutes into the second half.

Sancho, who stepped off the bench at the interval to replace Alejandro Garnacho, finished off a crisp United move to net their third goal of the game and his second since returning from his extended absence.
