Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes led the well wishes to Anthony Elanga after he joined Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal this week.
Elanga was transfer listed by manager Erik ten Hag at the end of last season as he looked to drum up funds for this summer. MEN Sport understands the Reds halved his valuation to £10m in an attempt to entice clubs to come in for the forward.
It is understood a fee pf £15million was agreedwith the East Midlands club for the Swedish winger. During his time at Old Trafford, the 22-year-old made 55 appearances for the club grabbing four goals and four assists, breaking through when Ralf Rangnick arrived in Manchester.
