Determined Brendan Rodgers says the target is clear for his side – European football after Christmas. The Celtic boss has his side in the Netherlands for a clash with Feyenoord that will kick off their Champions League group stage campaign.
Lazio and Atletico Madrid also lie in wait in what looks like one of the most open sections in this season's competition. Celtic are favourites with most bookies to finish bottom but Rodgers isn't buying that as he believes "anything is possible" ahead of the showdown in Rotterdam.
He said: "Playing any team at this level is obviously very difficult. Feyenoord, being Dutch champions, they have a great history in this country of producing teams and players.
We know the challenge, but we're looking forward to it. It's the first game of six, let's see where it takes us. "Success for us is to be in Europe after Christmas.
