Brendan Rodgers has moved to put Celtic fans mind at ease as he insisted they won't scramble to bring in new recruits this months.

And the boss stated that they won't be forced into any sales in the January window if they are not required with speculation intensifying over the future of Matt O'Riley.

Nicolas Kuhn is the only arrival so far this month with Rodgers previously insisting he wanted to bring in recruits to bolster the quality of his side for the Scottish Premiership title run-in with Rodgers and recruitment chief Mark Lawwell working to make their next move.

And while Rodgers shrugged off speculation that O'Riley could leave the club with La Liga leaders Girona circling - he admits fringe stars could follow the likes of Kwon and Adam Montgomery out of the door on loan this month.
