BREAKING: Mancunian Way CLOSED as emergency services deal with 'incident' - latest updates

Police have closed off the Mancunian Way in full while emergency services respond to an 'incident'. Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) announced the full closure between Regent Road and Pin Mill Brow at around 7.30pm this evening (August 14).

An image from the scene shows both Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service in attendance. London Road has also been closed underneath the Mancunian Way.

In a post on Twitter, a Transport for Greater Manchester spokesperson said: "A57(M) Mancunian Way. Full closure currently in place from Pin Mill Brow to Regent Road. London Road is also closed underneath the Mancunian Way. Re-route to avoid delays." Further details about the nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
