Manchester City akan melepas Benjamin Mendy di musim panas ini. Kontrak bek asal Prancis itu tak akan diperpanjang, menyusul statusnya yang masih berurusan dengan hukum.

Mendy sudah absen membela Man City sejak Agustus 2021 usai ditangkap karena dituduh melakukan sejumlah kasus pemerkosaan dan kekerasan seksual.

Ia pun diskors sejak saat itu. Mirror melaporkan Man City telah mengonfirmasi bahwa Mendy itu akan berstatus bebas transfer.
