The Traitors has returned for its much anticipated second series and viewers are already hooked - so much so that they have all made the same complaint over host Claudia Winkleman's latest announcement.

The gripping BBC reality show, based in a Scottish castle, returned to screens on Wednesday (January 3) with a new batch of contestants hoping to take home the prize pot.

The programme first made its debut in November 2022 with the Strictly Come Dancing presenter as host. After raving reviews, the show has now returned with 22 new competitors taking on the ultimate challenge of deceit - or truth-finding - in the hopes of winning up to £120,000.

In the first episode, the group was split up into secret traitors and faithfuls - with the former tasked with “murdering” one faithful each night.
