Strictly Come Dancing viewers have claimed to have spotted the 'dark horse' of the competition as things heated up in Blackpool.

The Elstree studio was a distant memory on Saturday night (November 18) as the stars and crew of the BBC One dance contest headed to the iconic Tower Ballroom.

As per the show's annual tradition, they headed to the seaside town for week nine of the 2023 series and things got off to a glitzy and energetic start with the hit show's group of professional dancers opening the show as they filled the sprung floor to a mega musical mash-up.

But it was then time for the real competition to begin with EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell the first couple to dance during the latest live show as they performed a jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham!
