Baltimore Ravens sign K Justin Tucker to four-year extension

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Justin Tucker signed a four-year extension with the Baltimore Ravens on Monday that, a source said, will keep him the NFL's highest-paid kicker.

Tucker, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, will earn an average of $6 million per season, a source said, which is $1 million more than any other kicker.

He will receive a signing bonus of $11.5 million and $17.5 million guaranteed, according to the source. Tucker is now signed through the 2027 season.

Tucker has converted 91.1% of his career field goals (326-of-358), which is the best in the league. He also hit a 66-yard field goal — the longest kick in NFL history — to win a game in Detroit Lions last year.

What more can you say about John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens? They have now won 22 straight preseason games (20-2 ATS). It's truly a head-scratching streak, given the notion that teams and fans disregard actual wins that do not impact the regular season standings. But here we are, observing a franchise that has continuously churned out «meaningless» victories since 2015, rewarding bettors who have maintained faith.
The Baltimore Orioles were not supposed to be good this year. They definitely were not supposed to contend this deep into the season for a playoff spot. Heck, they weren't even supposed to be competitive once we got past April. It looked like it would be another miserable, soul-sucking, 100-loss season in Baltimore, the kind of year that makes baseball fans question its commitment to a sport that plays almost every day for six months — especially since the Orioles had such seasons in 2018 and 2019 and 2021.
