Atletico star enters Celtic dressing room to make special request after Champions League clash

Jose Maria Gimenez entered the Celtic dressing room after Atletico's thumping win in Madrid - but only to make a special request of Luis Palma.

Palma and his Celtic team were on the wrong end of a 6-0 thrashing in Madrid with Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata running riot over the Hoops, who were reduced to 10 men in the first half after Daizen Maeda's red card.

It was a humbling experience on the road and one that leaves Brendan Rodgers' team with minimal hopes of any European football after Christmas.

But it seems there wasn't too much in the way of bad blood in the dressing rooms as according to reports in Spain, Atleti defender Gimenez entered the Celtic changing room after full-time - to ask for his shirt.
