Asda fans praise ‘genius’ idea to save £100s for Christmas

Asda has announced it will introduce a new feature to its loyalty app that will incetivise customers to save up for Christmas.

The Christmas Saver Cashpot will be added into the Asda Rewards app to allow customers to save their 'Cashpot' for spending over the Christmas period.

Customers could save up to £300 by transferring from their Cashpot into their Christmas Saver Cashpot. Meanwhile, a cash bonus will be added to the transfer depending on how much is added, ranging from £1 to £5 in bonuses alone - this feature will be added between November 20 and November 24.

Between November 24 and December 31, customers will be able to convert their Christmas Saver Cashpot into vouchers which can be spent online or in an Asda store.
