After being completely outplayed by Australia in the first three days, Team India fought with tooth and nail to produce a decent fightback on Day 4.

Apart from the action on the field, a special moment in the crowd caught the attention of everyone. During India's second innings on Day 4, a fan proposed to his girlfriend at The Oval.

The camera was panned towards the couple the moment the man went on his knees and his girlfriend said 'Yes'. The couple kissed and the crowd around them clapped and cheered over the heartwarming moment.

The moment was not only enjoyed by the spectators, but also the commentators, Ravi Shastri and Ricky Ponting. "It's all happening at The Oval," ex-India head coach Shastri said on-air.

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting believes that England's pacer Ollie Robinson did not look dangerous in the Ashes as he has only taken wickets of tailenders. The English bowler has taken three wickets in the ongoing second Test match of the Ashes series against Australia on Thursday at Lord's. He had also taken five wickets in the first Ashes Test. Ponting in ICC Review said, "I don't think he's looked dangerous in the series at all. I mean, if you look at the wickets, he's got the tailenders out in each game. Yes he got Marnus (Labuschagne) in this innings here. But then he got (Nathan) Lyon and then he got (Josh) Hazlewood. So if he didn't get the 10 and 11 out, then he finishes his innings with one wicket at over four runs an over."

England pacer Ollie Robinson has courted plenty of attention for his antics in the first Ashes Test. His duels with Usman Khawaja were well noted by the cricketing fraternity and the pacer was even asked about the same in the press conference. After Robinson cited the examples of Ricky Ponting and other former Australian cricketers over the Khawaja sledging episode, the former Aussie skipper has given a sharp retort, calling English pacer a 'slow learner' while questioning his bowling too.
The World Test Championship final turned out to be a nightmare for Team India as they faced a 209-run defeat against Australia. In the chase of 444, the Rohit Sharma-led side was bundled out for 234 after Nathan Lyon and Scott Boland took four and three wickets respectively. Not only the bowlers but their batters too made vital contributions to the team's victory. Travis Head and Steve Smith brought up their respective hundreds and comfortably dominated the Indian bowlers. Apart from them, there was another player who also utterly impressed everyone and he was wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.
England batter Harry Brook was at the receiving end of a 'freak dismissal' during Day 1 of the first Ashes Test against Australia in Birmingham on Friday. Brook looked in fine touch but was ultimately bowled by Nathan Lyon in a stunning fashion. A delivery from Lyon hit Brook's thigh pad and went up in the air. Both the fielders and Brook were not aware of it for some time but the ball ended up dropping between the batter and his stumps. Unfortunately, it came in contact with Brook's back leg and crashed into the stumps. Both fans and experts were left stunned with Ricky Ponting's comment going viral.
