Arsenal will pull off a ‘big win’ by tying Bukayo Saka down to a new Emirates Stadium contract following the closure of the transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones. The Gunners have not been afraid to splash the cash, having forked out close to £120million ahead of the fast-approaching deadline.
Saka has entered the final two years of his £33,000-per-week contract, leading to doubts over where his long-term future lies.
However, the winger has hinted that he is keen to head to the negotiating table and hold discussions over a new deal after admitting to feeling ‘at home’ at Arsenal.
It comes just a matter of months after it emerged that reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are closely monitoring developments due to Saka’s contract situation, while Liverpool have also earmarked him as a future target.
