Arsenal have been boosted in their pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk as he is set to move onto pastures new, amid Emirates Stadium interest, within the next year, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. The Gunners may have spent close to £120million on bolstering Mikel Arteta’s squad during the summer window, but they will have the opportunity to draft in further reinforcements in January.
Mudryk played a key role when Shakhtar got their Champions League campaign off to a winning start earlier this week as he grabbed a goal and two assists against RB Leipzig.
Following his impressive performance, the winger admitted he dreams of playing in the Premier League and hinted that a move to Arsenal could be on the cards by stating he ‘can’t say no’ to a winter switch to north London.
The Gunners could reportedly reignite their interest in Mudryk ahead of the transfer window reopening at the turn of the year.
