Armagh goalkeeper Ethan Rafferty is facing a prolonged spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious leg injury while on duty for his club Grange on Friday night.The Division 1B match against St Peter's had to be abandoned late on as an ambulance was called with Rafferty, who plays outfield for his club, suffering a dislocated ankle and a suspected leg fracture.Rafferty has become one of the most high-profile names in the sport after being surprisingly placed in goal by Kieran McGeeney for the last two seasons.It’s a double sporting blow for Rafferty, who will miss his club’s senior championship campaign, as he was due to compete in the All-Ireland road bowls finals next week.Rafferty retained his Ulster crown against Shaun Donnelly earlier this month and was due to face Munster champion Brian Wilmot in Eglish, Tyrone."Best wishes to Ethan Rafferty who suffered a leg injury in last night’s league game.
