Buzzing Ange Postecoglou reveals he "sensed" his side had the beating of Rangers before his side had even scored at Hampden.
The Australian picked up his third trophy since arriving at Celtic with a 2-1 win over their rivals at the national stadium, with goals from Kyogo either side of half-time enough to secure the Viaplay Cup despite Alfredo Morelos pulling one back for Rangers.
Kyogo's first came right before the break but Postecoglou felt ten minutes prior that his side were in control and it would just be a matter of time before the breakthrough arrived.
He told Celtic TV: "We started really well, we knew we had to. We got control of the game very quickly and even though we didn't create a lot, I thought if we could maintain our composure and make sure that we made them work then there would be moments where we could break them open.
